Lauching new cement manufacturing plant DIC - BINH PHUOC.

To tackle the current economic difficulties in which credit is restricted for enterprises and high inflation severely causes the raise of inputs price, the DIC Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company has been determined to invest and upgrade the Binh Phuoc Cement Manufacturing Plant. It aims firstly to provide adequate volume of input materials for our 4 roof tile manufacturing plants and fuel high demand of Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding areas later on. This is our second cement plant after the Huu Nghi 2 plant located at Phu Tho province and our 6th of building material manufacturing factories in total capitalized by DIC-INTRACO.


The plant was originally known as the Son Hong Cement Plant on the area of 10.000 m2, located at the Binh Phuoc Industrial Zone.  The DIC Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company has accomplished purchasing contract with previous owner and turned it into one of DIC-INTRACO's branches on  28/12/2010. We have made sufficient upgrade and reforms so that it can hit highest capacity when in operation.

Being capitalized with the amount of nearly VND 30 billions, it is estimated to run at 300.000 tones/year. DIC-INTRACO aims to cater our manufacturing roof tile plants thus reduce our dependence on suppliers. This move will make our product become more competitive and increase our reputation in the market.

On the occasion of new plant launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manhy Chien – Deputy General Director of DIC-INTRACO who is appointed as managing director of the Binh Phuoc Cement Plant says: “DIC-INTRACO has been known as the prominent provider of clinker and many building material products. Having DIC Binh Phuoc Cement plant is in our strategic plan. Accordingly, DIC-INTRACO will become the one stop building material provider. This is the next step to realize our commitment: maximize products and services to bring highest benefits to customers”
